THE DEVIL JUMP

I shuffled my feet uneasily. Far away from it, I could sense the evil energy being unleased. "MOVE IT!" As quickly as we could, we ran towards the "Black Demon". Standing before us is this huge cliff, making us shrink in size. "This is the ONLY obstacle for today. Clear it and you're outta here." The pungent sulphur smell was making me dizzy. "Recruit JS!! U are First. Ready and jump!" *Legs shiver* Taking a small step forward, I wondered how it will feels like to plunge right into a pool of sulphur. *1,2 JUMP!* ARHHH... It was off balance, and I suddenly found myself trying to cling onto the side of the cliff. argh. There is no way out. I looked up at Commander Lim desperately, as if pleading for her to save me. The evil grin penetrated right thru me, and at that instant, the waves she shot hit me and I had free fall 500m down. With no help from other recruits, I could only scream my lungs off and rely on my wings to soften the impact of the pool. Gosh. The smell. "NEXT" *Other recruits queued up* Oh man.. I'll have to attempt it again next week.
Feeling "peace-ed"(pissed), I dragged myself back to camp. Suddenly a dwarf like green creature opened its mouth. "Hey there, any penny to spare?" Mind half dead, I took out the barely filled container and took out a golden coin. As if under some spell, I willingly tossed the coin to her. "Say greeny, wat do ya need it for?" *Screeched* " Some drinks ya?" With lightning speed, it was gone. Heh. 1 coin to exchange for its small happiness, why not. Suddenly My auto-lock system spinned my attention at this green figure. Not again. IT was asking for coins with others, giving the same excuse. You DUNNIT So many dam coins to buy a freaking drink.
